JUNE 2026 FOUNDER’S MESSAGE – An Exciting Summer Ahead
Summer makes its official debut this month among much fanfare. As we count down the days to one of the most anticipated seasons of the year, Metro Vancouver’s real estate market is active.
Sales across British Columbia are projected to increase 7.7% in 2027, according to the British Columbia Real Estate Association’s (BCREA) Second Quarter Housing Forecast. Increased listings are creating more balanced market conditions and offering buyers more choice. Active listings are currently at their highest since 2015 and prices are holding stable across our province.
There are currently 16,917 properties listed for sale in Metro Vancouver on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). This is 34.6% above the 10-year seasonal average. The MLS Home Price Index composite benchmark price for all residential properties in Metro Vancouver is currently $1,100,700, up 0.2% compared to April 2026.

After almost a decade of planning and construction, Oakridge Park officially opened its doors at the end of last month. The opening marks a significant milestone in Metro Vancouver. Phase one of Vancouver’s premier retail destination includes 650,000 square feet with 100-plus leading global brands, as well as flagship and boutique stores. One of the biggest attractions is the Time Out Market, where you’ll experience the city’s most celebrated chefs and rising culinary talents. This large upscale dining area includes 18 kitchens, a dessert counter, three bars, a wonderful outdoor terrace and seating for around 1,000 people.
A spacious rooftop public park includes a walking path, open lawn areas, seating and gathering spaces. Upon completion, Oakridge Park will include residential towers, office space, cultural programming and community amenities. Close to 150 retailers will occupy 850,000 square feet when completed. Spanning almost eight city blocks, the project is designed to feel more like a luxury urban district rather than a traditional enclosed mall. From global fashion houses to local favorites, Oakridge Park offers an extraordinary curated collection.
